Bike the Carpathians

Visiting Romania is like visiting the 17th century:  You’ll see ancient towns and farming villages, fortified churches, the fortress of a mythological vampire, Dracula, dense forests and snow-capped mountains – all of which make Romania a different kind of travel experience; one’s that’s as fascinating as it is varied. During our bike tour of the Carpathian Mountains, we’ll ascend by cable car to fantastic height, then roll down stunning single track trails, crisscrossing alpine meadows and ride beneath stunning peaks. We will traverse the pathways that lead to the impressive Carpathian range and pedal through the lofty areas around the ski villages of Poiana Braşov and Sinaia – both of which boast great bike paths and a lively local biking scene, cable cars and tracks down the ski slopes. We’ll also visit magical Saxon villages and their wooden churches.
