Multi Active Nepal

Direct Adventures are the only company to offer our clients a fully inclusive multi-active week of rafting, Mountain biking, bungee jumping and a jungle safari in the Nepalese Himalayas. Quite unbeatable in terms of action, adventure, culture and fun; this trip fulfils some incredible ambitions as you raft for two days down grade four rivers and bungee jump into an awesome 160m gorge, mountain bike the incredible Kathmandu Horseshoe and even get the opportunity to experience the Nepalese Elephant safari.

Brief Day to Day Itinerary
Day 1
Arrive Kathmandu
Upon arrival in Kathmandu you will be met by your Direct adventures rep and transferred to our four star Eco hotel in the heart of Thamel, Kathmandu’s exciting city centre.


Day 2
Kathmandu – Lomosangu Dam  
We start our day with a cultural tour of Kathmandu and this afternoon we travel out to our rafting base Lomosangu Dam.


Day 3
Lomosangu Dam - Rafting  
This morning is spent packing up the rafts and going through our trip ahead. We start rafting before lunch return to the Lomosangu base.


Day 4
Lomosangu Dam - Rafting 
Our day takes with an early start as we take on the upper stretches of the river. We stop for our lunch on the riverside sandy beaches a swim and then back to the boats for the next section which takes us to the town of Bololghat Bazaar. We return to Bhote Khosi.


Day 5
Bungee Jump - Kathmandu 
Our morning starts with an epic plunge 500ft (160m)of a bridge Into the Bhote Khosi Gorge. This is an awesome bungee Jump. After lunch we return to Kathmandu to get our bikes all set for tomorrow’s adventure.


Day 6
Kathmandu – Mountain biking
Today our day starts with a very exciting drive up onto the Kathmandu Horseshoe ridge. Today is spent with climbs and descents overlooking incredible Kathmandu. We lunch at a picturesque hotel. Descending back down to the city we drop our bikes off and enjoy a cold beer and the hotel facilities.


Day 7
Chitwan National Park – Jungle walk
We take a short internal flight to Nepaljunji and from here we travel to ouir jungle safari lodge. This afternoon we will have an escorted jungle walk.


Day 8
Elephant safari
Today we tramp through the trees and brush, cross rivers and see the rainforest on the back of a massive, hairy, smelly and enchanting elephant!!


Day 9
Return flight to Kathmandu 
This morning we explore the jungle a little more before we make the return flight to Kathmandu.


Day 10
Departure
Our trip comes to a close as we take you back to the airport for your return flights home. Depart Kathmandu.

    All nationalities require a full passport that must be valid for 6 months beyond the intended length of stay. Most nationalities require a visa for Nepal, which can be obtained in advance or on entry. The current cost of a visa on arrival in Kathmandu is $25 for a 15 day visa, $40 for 30 days, $100 for 90 days, and all are multiple entries (you will also need one passport size photograph).
