Heliski in Western Tien Shan
As with all our worldwide travel, our skiing trips reach out to the four corners and all the unique great high mountain ranges. At Direct Adventures we bring you to a seemingly unheard of and underskied area of Central Asia in the Fann mountains of the western Tien-Shan. The first snows arrive here in December, and they rival any of the best  snowy ranges in the world. From our impressive Pyramid hotel, we travel by MI8 helicopter to the surrounding peaks in the area (Ugam, Pskem and Chatkal ranges).  There is a vertical drop of up to 2500m, which means fly to ski time ratio is kept to a minimum and so keeping the overall cost down and your skiing time up.  Our trip to the Fann Mountains is unmissable skiing that competes  with any of the better known, further away Heliskiing destinations around the world.
